Due to the country-wide ban on single-use plastic bags, the demand for eco-friendly paper bags is increasing at a rapid rate. We are a startup that specializes in manufacturing paper bags using clean newsprints, flyers by without pulping or bleaching, or adding any chemicals. We also make crinkle paper shreds, cardboard shreds, wine bags, gift bags for the kitchen using clean paper wastes. Our products are truly eco-friendly and better than compared Kraft paper bags. We are a social enterprise that hires 5 newcomer immigrant women with language barriers to make bags for us. Our goal is to reduce plastic wastes, pollutions and create local jobs. Our company has 70 paying retailer customers in Halifax region municipality, Darmouth, Fredericton, Ontario. Currently, we are developing a semi-automatic machine to swiftly fold the paper and glue it.
