Get involved
You've built something worth talking about. Let's tell that story — together.
You care about sustainability and you’ve built that into what you offer and how you work. You may not have a name for it yet — but what you’re doing is part of a global movement that countries and communities are leaning into as they look for real solutions to environmental challenges.
WeRcircular is a Canadian not-for-profit based in Stouffville, Ontario. We work with circular economy businesses across Canada to help them communicate the full value of what they offer — so the right people can recognise them, trust them, and keep coming back.
What we’re
Building
Together
We’re at the beginning of something — and that’s the point.
WeRcircular brings together Canadian businesses whose products and services keep things in use longer, reduce waste, and give resources a second life. We help them tell that story in ways that connect with the people around them — not just describing what they do, but helping their community understand why it matters to all of us.
We work with a growing network of businesses, test messaging with real community members, and share what we learn across the group. What works for one business makes the whole network stronger. Whether you’ve got a dedicated communications team or not, you’ll get the benefit of everything we’ve learned working across our network. We share among other partners in the circular economy, building on each other’s progress for the good of all.
Get involved early and while you benefit from what we build, you’ll also help shape it. The businesses that come in now will have real influence on our tools, our programs, and where we go next.
If that sounds like yours, we’d love to hear from you.
WAYS TO GET INVOLVED
We offer three ways to work with us, depending on where you are and what you need.
Contributor
For businesses that want visibility and recognition
Investment: No cost to start
As a Contributor, your business becomes part of the weRcircular community. We build a profile of your business, spotlight you on our social media channels, and recognise you as a circular economy leader in Stouffville.
What you get:
- A business profile in the weRcircular directory
- A social media spotlight through weRcircular channels
- Recognition at the Stouffville Sustainable Business Awards (planned November 2026)
- An invitation to our template library when it launches, plus alerts when new items are added
- Pay-per-download access to templates developed and vetted by circular economy communications professionals
Collaborator
For businesses that want to help shape the work —
and benefit most from it
This is our core offering — and the most meaningful way to get involved right now. As a Collaborator, you work directly with us to build communications that help your community understand the full value of what you offer — not just what you sell, but why choosing your business is better for all of us.
We test those communications with real community members and report back on what lands. You get messaging you can trust because real people helped shape it. And a template package for your business, at no extra charge.
The first ten businesses to join as Founding Collaborators will have a permanently lower annual rate — locked in as long as you renew. More than that, they’ll be in the room where it happens — helping us build the tools, shape the programs, and define what circular economy communications looks like for Canadian businesses. If you’re reading this early, that opportunity is still open.
Investment:

Who this is for:
WeRcircular is for Canadian businesses at any stage — whether you’ve been thinking about sustainability for years or you’ve never used the words “circular economy” in your life.
If your business repairs, reuses, refills, remanufactures, or finds new life for materials and products, there’s a good chance you’re already part of this movement. The most important thing we do is widen the circle — helping more businesses understand what they’re part of, and helping more people in their communities understand why it matters.
